Studied as a graduate music teacher and orchestra musician with major in trumpet at the Hermann Zilcher conservatory in Würzburg.
Since 1997 employed and teaching trumpet at the music school of the city of Bad Kissingen.
From 2000 - 2020 deputy head of music school and deputy head of the youth music corps.

Roman Riedel (born 1973) comes from a family of musicians. Even as a schoolboy he won federal awards at “Jugend musiziert”.
After studying at the universities of Trossingen and Hamburg an Erasmus scholarship took him to Vienna and Graz, where he received his master's degree from Acquired arts with honors. Roman Riedel attended top-class master classes and orchestral academies, participated in many international tours and had numerous temporary employments in theater and concert orchestras.
Since 2003 being a member of the Staatsbad Philharmonie Kissingen, he began teaching in 2010 the “low brass” at the municipal music school.
